The course organises the main results of one of the project scenarios, namely no. 1, Landslides in coastal area, in order to let them exploitable to a larger audience of users. That is, the development of the scenario and its achievements is exposed in a way that makes the project experience transferable to other cases and needs.

Abstract

The module is addressed to listeners needing to understand how the LIFE+IMAGINE project has coped with the questions posed by the Landslides scenario to create a knowledge frame able to support environmental coastal policies. Aim is to transfer the project experience to new cases and to further users.

Learning outcomes

After completion of the module, the learners will be able to recognise how the LIFE+IMAGINE outputs can help them in coping with the planning and management of a prone landslides area, in order to understand the possible impacts, estimate the value of the damage and upon these elements propose interventions and solutions for the management of the coastal area.
