Scenarios Applications: Soil Consumption

The course organises the main results of one of the project scenarios, namely no. 2, Soil Consumption, in order to let them exploitable to a larger audience of users. That is, the development of the scenario and its achievements is exposed in a way that makes the project experience transferable to other cases and needs.

Authors: This training module has been produced by ISPRA. It grounds on the cases proposed by Regione Toscana and Regione Liguria, owners of the datasets used for the development of those use cases.

The module is addressed to listeners needing to understand how the LIFE+IMAGINE project has coped with the questions posed by the Soil Consumption scenario, in order to create a knowledge frame able to support the policies for the coastal environment and for the coastal regional/urban planning. The main aim is to transfer the project experience to new cases and to further users.

It is a presentation module.

The course gives them the needed instruments and knowledge to recognize the impacts already present and to act on the coastal planning in order to optimize the management of this area and prevent future risks.
